About
Why we made Check Both Ends.
A routine check for the body is normal at 45. We think one for the mind should be too.
Why we made this
At 45, we accept preventive care for the body. Almost nobody thinks about it for the mind.
People will put on a gown, drink the prep and let a stranger look around a region they’ve never explored. The end up top somehow stays off limits.
So we made Check Both Ends. Your colon screening at 45 is already on the calendar. We think a check-in for your head belongs right next to it. Not a big declaration. Just a routine appointment to talk things out, even if there’s nothing to talk about.
Meet Butt & Brain
They have a song. It’s stuck in our heads.
Two strangers meet in a doctor’s waiting room. One is in for a routine colonoscopy. The other has things that build up too: the bills, the work, the mortgage, soccer practice. Then they start singing.
Read the chorus
Check both ends
Check both ends
When you hit forty-five
Check on your colon and your head
Catch a polyp when it’s small
Talk before you hit a wall
Different parts with different problems
But prevention helps them all
“You check on one end of the body… might as well check the other part.”
